Detailed Description:
This book will be the first of a planned informal series of books which describe the applications of PMI’s standards and practice standards. The goal will be to explain and show through example what the standard covers and how to go about successfully implementing the process. The authors for this book are in a unique position to write this guide because they wrote the PMI WBS Practice Standard – they are also well recognized as experts in the development and use of a WBS across a number of industries.

The book will present a user’s guide approach by walking through the entire WBS process from start to finish. To do this it is planned that a single project will be used that can convey the information to a diverse group of individuals, in this case a home remodeling project.
