Your mission is better time management! Leading a project team through a high pressure, high stakes situation can sometimes get off track and lead to delays.

Put your time management skills to the test with this hands-on, interactive course. Can you plan, manage and fully execute a project to help save lives? If you can make crucial decisions while leading a project needed to save lives, then imagine what else you can accomplish.

Picture this: It’s the year is 2075. A small international community of scientists has colonized Mars to conduct experiments and explore the environment. Now for the surprise: your team at Mission Control just learns that a deadly asteroid is about to hit Mars. They are all looking to YOU as the project leader to establish a schedule for building the lifesaving devices to help colonists survive the impact of the asteroid. Can you save your team in time?

What you’ll gain:
At the end, you will have managed the processes of project time management properly to ensure the project is completed in time to save the colonists. You will be able to:

• Define activities, attributes, and milestones that provide a basis for managing schedule changes to the project work.

• Sequence project activities in a Project Schedule Network Diagram based on dependencies, constraints, predecessor or successor relationships, and milestones.

• Determine resource requirements that will help enable an accurate resource breakdown structure.

• Calculate activity durations using analogous, parametric, and three-point estimating; and

• Analyze activity sequences, durations, resource requirements, and schedule constraints for updating the project schedule baseline.
